If someone writes on your wall, are you obligated to respond? Edit this page and add your thoughts.
- The simplest answer is "absolutely!" If they ask you a question, then certainly respond. If they make some witty comment, then you should make some witty comment back. In general one should always respond to a wall post. If it is witty banter then you should carry on the same witty banter, unless the person is just making a statement and there is nothing to respond to.
And if someone takes the trouble to carry on witty banner on your wall, it is very rude to delete their posts. Unless they are swearing, insulting or post personal information; its bad form.
In general it really annoys the person who took the time to write on your wall if you ignore it. The more you ignore wall posts, the less people will bother.
